Developmental Editing

This service focuses on the core components of your story. I would assess the plot, structure, pacing, character development and theme, making sure it all comes together nicely.

I charge $.018/word for this service.

Proofreading

This is the last step in the editing process. Spelling, grammar, and punctuation mistakes are the main focus.

I charge $.008/word for this service.

Line Editing

This service focuses on the content, style, and flow of your writing. I'll work line-by-line, fixing any awkward or unclear sections, taking out repetition or redundancies, and addressing odd word choices and overall tone.

I charge $.01/word for this service.

Beta reading

I'll read through your story and give you my honest feedback. As I'm going through it, I'll leave in-line comments about what I liked and what I think about the plot/characters. I'd also leave comments about where I think the story could be improved.

I charge $50 for this service up to 100,000 words. After that, the price goes up to $75.

Copyediting

This step is the best for an overall edit. I'll look out for spelling, grammar, and punctuation mistakes. I'll also look out for repetition and ensure consistency within your story.
